"The Newcastle Coalfields Rugby League Referees are pleased to announce a sponsorship arrangement with the Newcastle & Hunter Youth Development Trust, to provide support for our referees in all junior and schoolboy games. The arrangement allows for the Newcastle & Hunter Youth Development Trust logo to appear on all jerseys worn by referees in all matches from Under 6's through to Under 17's, along with school fixtures, played in the Newcastle and Lower Hunter areas. Chairman of the Newcastle Coalfields referees Geoff Whiddon said "it is great that we have such wonderful supporters of junior sport like the Newcastle & Hunter Youth Development Trust. This sponsorship arrangement allows us to continue to recruit and develop rugby league referees in the local area, and provide players of rugby league the chance to have appropriately qualified referees in all their games". |
