The Association supplies referees to the Newcastle Rugby League & Newcastle & Hunter Rugby League Grade Competitions, which covers Newcastle / Hunter & Lake Macquarie areas. It extends to include teams from Wyong in the South, Nelson Bay in the North, Maitland, Raymond Terrace, Kurri Kurri and Cessnock in the West.

It also supplies referees to over 250 Junior and Schoolboys matches in the Newcastle & Hunter area.
