At a meeting of the Newcastle Schoolboys Association last week a question regarding lending players from one club to another was raised and whether or not it was permitted.
I have sought clarification and discussed the issue with Bert Lowrie (CRL Operations Manager) and we have resolved that players can be lent from one to another within the following;
§Matches cannot be for competition points.
§Both clubs must be in agreement
§The administrator / secretary of the competition must be informed.
§An authorised match official must be in control of the match.
You will note that John Fahey (Newcastle Rugby League Referee Development Manager) has been copied into this notice and assures me that the Referees Association will be made aware of this.
